Vintage Antique French 18K Gold Rose Cut Diamond Flower Halo Cluster Cocktail Ring, Engagement Ring, Size 8-8.5

Circa 1920s-1930s, This French origin antique/vintage 18K rose cut diamond ring is a lovely and charming ring that every vintage lover would love to own. The ring is highlighted with 10 antique rose cut diamonds forming a lovely flower motif. All the diamonds are open back and set on a basket mounting. The center rose cut diamond spreads approx. 3.8mm, the 9 pedal stones range from 2.65mm-2.85mm, about half carat total diamonds, H-J color, SI/I clarity. Rose cut is one of the earliest or more primitive cutting methods of a diamond. As they were mostly cut by hand, it is normal to see natural inclusions, chipping & rough unpolished sides / edges for diamonds cut and used in that method.

Hallmark and Metal: French eagle mark (indicating 18k and French origin), a "750" mark, a possible maker's mark, and a mark that is partially rubbed off on the shank. The metal is tested as well.
