Substantial Antique Solid 14K Gold Watch Chain Choker Necklace, Ornate Belcher Inter-locking Link Locket Chain, 14", 15" with Extension

In the old time, this gorgeous and substantial 14K solid gold watch chain used to be connected to a gentleman's pocket watch.  It is constructed with double interlocking links that are definitely and extraordinarily ornate and one of kind!

This heavy and solid chain has been well preserved to keep its historic integrity: it still has its original thumbless clasp and swivel clip connected at either end, and a 1.5" extended T-bar. The original length of this antique solid gold chain was 14 inches, which can be wearable for a small neck. To make it more wearable, I added an extension using an antique thumbless clasp taken from another antique watch chain (please note that the extension components are gold filled). Now the chain has been extended to a more wearable length of 15". The chain extension can be easily added on and taken off.

Metal and Hallmark: The chain is vaguely marked "14" inside the swivel clip. It tested as 14k as well.

Weight of solid gold chain: approx. 60.2 grams. 

Link Measurement: 7mm for the solid gold link width (all measures are approximate).

Circa 1890s-1920s.
