Antique Art Nouveau 14K Solid Gold Old Cut Diamond Repousse Pansy Iris Flower Wedding Locket, Monogram WMM, Photo Locket, 17" Chain

This breath-taking antique 14K solid gold pansy locket is simply a piece of art and treasure for antique jewelry lovers, especially Art Nouveau jewelry collectors.

The front of the locket highlights a three-dimensional repousse Iris motif with a sparkly old mine diamond accent (approx. 7 points). The back is engraved artistic monograms that appear to be "WMM".

As many of you know, I am an avid locket collector myself and I love fine Art Nouveau solid gold lockets with beautiful repousse details as they are rare and retain better investment value. It could be a wonderful gift to treat yourself or your loved one!

The locket came with a 17" old vintage gold filled chain, so it is ready to wear.

Measurements: approx. 1 & 1/16" in round (excluding the top round bale and jump ring).

Metal: unmarked. Both electronically and acid tested as 14K.

Locket Weight: approx. 7.4 grams.

Condition: excellent antique condition with minor wear (I seldom rate antique jewelry as an excellent condition). It retains both bezel rings, two film covers and two original old photos. The jump ring was added later and is gold filled. Please look through all the pictures as they are part of the description. The locket opens well and closes firmly with a 'click'. This is a period piece that you will not be disappointed with.
