This exquisite vintage estate GIA certified Burmese no heat ruby diamond ring is a dream of gem collectors or anyone who is looking for alternative color gemstone engagement ring. Ruby is also the birthstone for whoever was born in July.
The center stone is a prong-set 1.02 ct premium gem quality oval shaped natural ruby. Further, it is certified by the ultimate gem authority: Gemological Institute of America (GIA). GIA states the ruby's origin is Burma (Myanmar) and has no indication of heating. The ruby has a highly sought after purplish red color with a nice saturation. It really is very pleasing to the eye. As many of you know, being a certified unheated ruby alone puts it in the top 1% of all rubies. A ruby coming from the origin of Burma commands an even higher premium due to its scarcity and value, as Burma produces the world's finest rubies. For this reason, the rare untreated Burmese ruby is highly regarded in the gem trade, so does it reflect in the gem price. The market prices this kind of no heat Burmese ruby (certified by respectable labs) at 8K-10k per carat or even higher.
Finding a ring set with such a rare gem created by mother nature is like finding a needle in a haystack. We priced this rare gem at a whole sale level with a remarkable bargain. The ruby is accented with 0.37 ctw prong-set emerald cut diamonds and baguette diamonds, mounted on a high profile gallery with ornate filigree details. All the diamonds are very white and sparkly (VS clarity and G-H color on average).
