1.42CT GIA Certified M VS2 Old Mine Cut Diamond, Antique Diamond

This gorgeous 1.42 CT old mine cut diamond is a chunky old stone that checks all boxes! It was rescued from a damaged Art Deco ring that was purchased from a family estate. This is a genuine antique diamond (not a modern new cut).

As the stone was completely cut by hand in the old time, it has all the original characteristics of an antique diamond, including a frosted girdle, slightly warmer tone and a little quirky/asymmetrical look, which are so charming and unique!

More importantly, the stone is recently certified by the most respected gem authority: Gemological Institute of America (GIA): Report Number 2231519078, dated Febuary 26, 2025, stating Shape and Cutting Style: Old Mine Brilliant,  Color: M, Clarity: VS2,  Fluorescence: None.

It was cut in a great proportion (50% small table and 69% great depth). More importantly,  it's an extremely clean stone being GIA VS2!

It will be a perfect stone for a custom made gypsy set diamond ring or any jewelry project because of its beautiful cut and clarity🤩.
