Art Deco Platinum Natural Blue Sapphire Cabochon Diamond Filigree Engagement Ring, 1.90 CTW, Size 7.5

This antique/vintage platinum natural blue sapphire cabochon diamond ring fully exemplifies the elegance of Art Deco jewelry design. The ring top highlights a polished high dome natural blue sapphire cabochon (approx. 6.05mm x 6.03mm x 4.85mm, or 1.84 ct by formula) set in a platinum delicate filigree open work gallery that has two small single cut diamonds on each side (6 points total). The ring is finished with a carved graduated shank.

The sapphire cabochon has a very desirable saturated medium blue body color. My local reputable jeweler (GIA graduated gemologist) has checked the stone under microscope and believes the sapphire is untreated. It has the unbroken silks and inclusions typical for untreated sapphires.

Metal: platinum and it is marked 10% IRID.PLAT.
