Reluctantly offering this enchanting early 1900s French 18K gold griffin (chimera) brooch from my personal collection.

Powerful, sculptural, and beautifully detailed, this is exactly the kind of antique jewel that makes my heart skip a beat. The mythical creature is rendered with wonderful dimension, highlighted by a lively old mine cut diamond set as its eye.
