This 14K beautiful genuine antique Victorian oval locket is a wonderfully sentimental keepsake!

The front features a raised flower motif set with a seed pearl rising out of the center. The back is clean, so its perfect to add your personal engravings. It also features an ornately carved bale on the top.

Opening from the side, it reveals one compartment by design with all the original components: one bezel ring and one glass cover. The glass cover truly indicates it was made at or before the turn of the 20th century. The compartment is perfect to put pressed flowers, your loved one's photo, a small love note or another personal memento so you wear it close to your heart! Overall, this is a completely charming and precious piece of period jewelry!

Size: It measures about 1 & 13/16" (from top to bottom) or 1 & 1/4" long without the bale and top ring (just the oval shape), and 15/16" in width.

Locket weight: 13.8 grams.

Metal: 14K solid gold (unmarked but professionally tested.)

Circa 1880s.

Condition: very good antique condition with age related wear. There are nicks and scratches on the surface. The hinge is good and closure is firm and tight. Please refer to all the listing pictures for the general condition.
