Antique Victorian 14K Gold Moss Agate Photo Locket, Gift for Her

This is a petite but lovely antique Victorian 14K moss agate locket. The front of this locket features a highly unusual moss agate cabochon. The cabochon is bezel set with subtle textured edge.

Opening from the side, it reveals two compartments for photos. It still retains two bezels, one glass cover (an indication of a locket made prior to the turn of the twentieth century) and an old photo of a gentleman.

The locket is currently hung on a vintage gold filled chain (approx. 18.5") that came with the locket when it was acquired.

Size: it measures approx. 3/4" long (without counting the bale and jump ring) and 5/8" wide.

Metal: Unmarked but tested as 14K.

Locket Weight: approx. 3.72 grams. With chain, approx. 6.4 grams.

Condition: very good antique condition with normal age wear. Good snap closure. Please refer to all the listing pictures for the general condition.
