Antique Solid 10K Gold Ornate Link Watch Chain, 16 Inches, Watch Fob Locket Chain, Statement Necklace

This fabulous and substantial 10K solid gold antique watch chain is our recent exciting find. Circa 1900s, the chain is built with heavy duty alternating long and short inter-connected links. Both the long and short links have a variety of elaborate details. This type of chain doesn't come up on the market often.

The original chain has an approx. length of 13.25" with 1.25" T-bar, which is shorter than a wearable length. To preserve the integrity of the chain but extend its life as a beautiful choker necklace, we added a gold filled extension connector that we redesigned with findings of other antique watch chains from the same era. The extension is approx. 2.75" long. The total length of the chain is approx. 16" ( just the chain only without counting the T-bar) with original clasps, swivel clip, and T-bar section (approx. 1.25"). It now can be worn by itself as a stylish choker or perfectly accompany your favorite locket or pendant!

Metal: unmarked 10K solid gold. We tested with electronic tester and confirmed with acid. Solid gold chain: 26.1 grams.

Gross weight (with extension connector): 30.5 grams.

Link width: approx. 5mm-6mm (all measures are approximate).

Circa 1900s.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with all parts original (except for the extension connector). Please refer to all the listing pictures for general condition.
