Antique French 18k Virgin Mary devotional medal. A classic Miraculous Medal rendered in beautiful high relief. The front features a beautifully modeled Virgin Mary, while the reverse bears a later engraved dedication dated September 27, 1943. Despite the later inscription, the medal itself dates to the late 19th to early 20th century (pre-WWI/WWI era).
