This antique Edwardian 14K old cut diamond locket made by the Strobell & Crane Company is one of the finest pieces and comes straight from my personal collection! But now, I have decided to offer it for sale to you!

The front of the locket features beautiful and ornate hand etched swirl/scrolled work design and is highlighted with 6 old mine diamonds (approx. 0.12 ct in the center, the remaining 5 are approx. 3 points each, totaling 0.27 ctw). The diamond lay out is not 100% symmetrical by design because the diamonds were set based off the owner's budget in the old time.

The back is engraved with monograms that appear to be "SIM".

Size: approx. 1 & 3/8" in round (without the bale and jump ring), which is a larger size locket compared to conventional size of 1" or 1.25".

Locket Weight: approx. 14.35 grams.

Circa 1890s-1910s.

Metal and Hallmark: S14C, which is a typical hallmark for the 14k jewelry made by the Strobell & Crane Company. Metal is tested as 14K.

About Strobell & Crane Company: it was listed as early as 1880, as manufacturers of fine jewelry in Newark, NJ. They not only created elegant jewelry, but exquisite cufflinks and custom luxury bracelets, rings and lockets that often rivaled those of other preeminent makers of the period (such as Carrington & Company, Cartier, Gough, & Wm. Huger & Company).

Condition: excellent antique condition with minor wear. I only keep the best pieces for myself which is a wrong rule for dealers🙈. It has all the original components, including both bezel rings and covers. Firm and precise snap closure. Please refer to the listed pictures/video for the general condition.
