Antique Art Nouveau Repousse Lion 10K Solid Gold Round Locket with Brilliants, High Relief Gold Photo Locket, Monogram THS

This antique 10K lion locket is a gorgeous bold piece from the Art Nouveau period! It features a striking and vivid image of a lion head with wild mane. The locket has a rich and smooth gold texture on the surface, keeping a certain elegance to the piece.

The front has a repousse three dimensional design. There is one sparkly old mine cut paste set in the mouth ( I believe it's original not a replacement because jewelry makers in the old time set stones based on client's budget, the cut and wear are also period appropriate). The two eyes are old mine cut diamonds (approx. 6 points total carat weight), making it full of life. The backside contains monograms that appear to be "THS".
