This antique 14K gold old European cut diamond gypsy ring is from the early 20th century. Most likely American origin with 14K hallmark inside the band. It features an extremely clean, sparkly and beautifully cut old European cut diamond. The diamond is bezel set with open back and finished with a graduated smooth solid sturdy shank.


Diamond Specifics: Approx.7.2mmx7.13mmx4.66mm, or 1.53 ct by formula. J-K color (assessment is heavily influenced by the thick yellow gold setting, the actual color could be whiter). Clarity: VS1-VS2 (limited by setting).

Size: 9. It feels tighter than 9 due to the thick band. It can be resized easily by a jeweler.

Weight: 12.45 grams (a weighty ring).

Condition: very good antique condition with normal age wear. The ring shank is smooth and sturdy and the diamond is securely set. Please refer to the listing images for the general condition.
