Antique 14K Gold Platinum Garnet Old European Cut Diamond Flower Halo Cluster Cocktail Ring, Engagement Ring, Size 4.25

This sweet and lovely antique 14K platinum garnet diamond cluster ring features 14 old European cut diamonds surrounding a faceted garnet forming a classic flower motif. Two additional diamonds are place on each shoulder.

All the gemstones are prong set mounted on a open-back ornate platinum basket gallery. The ring is finished with a smooth shank (meaning it is resizable).

Diamonds: 18 old European cut diamonds, totaling 0.54 ctw (H/I color, VS2-SI2 clarity)

Garnet: approx. 7mm in diameter or 1.6 ct by formula.

Ring head: approx. 1/2" across.

Mounting metal: 14K gold and platinum (unmarked but tested with acid to confirm).

Size: 4.25. It can be resized easily by a jeweler. If you need help with sizing, I can use my jeweler to help. Please message me prior to your purchase.

Weight: approx. 4.1 grams.

Condition: very good antique condition with minor age wear. All gemstones are securely set. Given the age and delicate design of the ring, I recommend checking with your local qualified jeweler once a year to see if any service is needed, including cleaning and prong retipping.
