This simple yet elegant 14K bezel set star sapphire ring is a conversion ring, modified from an antique stick pin. To preserve its maximal originality, we keep the ring gallery completely intact and converted the original pin stem into the ring shank. This created the current sleek, modern, and minimalist appearance. So the ring fits the taste of both modern design lover and vintage connoisseur.

The center stone is a fine quality natural star sapphire cabochon (approx. 8.33mm x 7.48mm x 5.12mm or 3.44 ct by formula).

The star sapphire has a lavender grayish hue. It demonstrates strong asterism (i.e. the "star") under spot light or sunlight, so, is very pleasing to the eye. More importantly, the stone is very translucent with very minor natural inclusions, which is a highly desirable type of star sapphire.
