Victorian Edwardian 9K 9CT 375 Solid Gold Shield Crest Watch Fob Locket Charm, Full English Hallmark, No Monogram, Personalized Pendant

This antique late-Victorian/Edwardian 9K solid gold shield/crest shaped locket is such a lovely adornment piece! English in origin, the front has a gordian knot decor set with a small faceted garnet.

The design is very clean and timeless with very fine craftsmanship. The surface has a polished and smooth texture with a light rose hue in real life. The back is clean and free of monograms, which is quite unusual for a piece of this age. It is a perfect piece for your wardrobe whether you have a modern minimalist taste or are totally a vintage lover!

What's more? The locket has full English hallmarks on the back. As a personal preference, I love to collect solid gold lockets, especially those with clear hallmarks, if my budget allows.

Hallmark and Metal: 9CT. It is marked "9" "375" for solid 9ct (9 karat) gold, an "anchor" indicating Birmingham, UK. The date letter and maker's mark is partially rubbed off.

Measurement: a hair under 1" long (without the top bale and jump ring), 1 & 3/16" from top to bottom, and 13/16" wide.

Total weight: approx. 6.2 grams.

Circa 1890s-1910s.

Condition: very good antique condition with age appropriate scratches and wear. The locket comes with all the original components: two bezel rings, two film covers, and two bottom liners.
