Antique Solid 10K Gold Ornate Watch Chain Choker Necklace, Belcher Link Chain, Upcycled Necklace

Made in the early 20th century, this gorgeous 10K solid gold watch chain used to be connected to a gentleman's pocket watch. It is constructed with ornate interlocking links yet, it is still heavy and solid.

The chain has been well preserved to keep its historic integrity: it still has its original thumb clasp, swivel clip, and 1.5" extended chain drop. The original length of this antique solid gold chain was 10.75 inches. To give it a new life, I added a short link chain that I pulled from another antique watch chain (please note that the extension components are gold filled). Now the chain has been extended to a wearable length (approx. 21 inches ). The chain extension can be easily added on and taken off. *This is a unique design from MemoryStation2013 as it maintains the integrity of this rare antique solid gold watch chain with added flexibility and personality.

Metal and Hallmark: The chain is marked with its maker's mark in two places and tested as 10k (electronically and acid).

Weight of solid gold chain: approx. 18 grams. Link Measurement: 5mm for the solid gold link width (all measures are approximate).

Circa 1900s-1920s.
