Victorian 14K Solid Yellow Gold Floral Carving Deep Purple Amethyst Wax Seal Watch Fob Charm Pendant

This breathtaking antique Victorian 14K solid gold charm pendant used to be a watch fob that connected to a gentleman's pocket watch in the Victorian Era. The body of the fob has intricate floral carving. The bottom is set with a genuine crest-shaped amethyst (approx. 22.92mm x 19.6mm in size). The amethyst has a deep purple tone and is most likely Siberian origin as almost all high quality amethyst from that era were sourced from Siberia/Russia. What's more, the whole piece remains in a remarkable condition with the original ornate bale that allows it to be worn as a pendant. Overall, it is a solid, heavy, and unique piece of art and history!

Dimensions: approximately 1 & 3/8" long; the oval bottom measures approx. 1" x 7/8".

Metal: 14k, unmarked but tested.
