Antique Victorian Edwardian 14K Solid Gold 0.15 CT Old European Cut Diamond Wedding Locket, Monogram MEW, Circa 1900, Gift for Her

This circa 1900s antique 14K old European cut diamond locket is one of the finest pieces and comes straight from my personal collection! But now, I have decided to offer it for sale to you!

The front of the locket features a classic Edwardian raised floral wreath decor. The center features a fiery and sparkly prong set old European cut diamond (measures approx. 0.15 ct, very conservative estimate, actual weight should be more due to the high crown, color D-E-F, VVS-VS clarity). The diamond is extremely well cut. Trust me, you can see the fire dancing from 100 feet away!

The back is engraved with monograms that appear to be "MEW".

Size: approx. 1 & 1/16" in round (without the bale and jump ring).

Metal: marked 14K inside.

Locket Weight: 8.6 grams on my scale.

Circa 1890s-1900s.

Condition: excellent antique condition with very little age related wear (I seldom rate an antique piece in this category). TheIt comes with all the original components: two bezels and two celluloid covers to store your precious memory. The hinge is in a working condition and the closure is firm and tight.
