Antique Victorian 14K Solid Gold Onyx Banded Agate Locket, Rose Gold Photo Locket, Watch Fob Pendant
This is a fabulous antique late Victorian watch fob locket, made of 14K solid rose gold and set with double-sided onyx and banded agate panels on the front and back. This watch fob locket along with a substantial 14K watch chain (see the last image) comes from a NY family estate. It has always remained in the same family till now.
Like many Victorian watch fob lockets, it has an ornate hanging setting on the top, which opens and reveals two photo compartment. It still retains two original bezels, the photos of the ancestors of the prior owner, and two glass covers (this indicates the locket is from at or before the turn of century).

Size: It measures approx. 1 & 3/4" in height from top to end (including the hanging bale and the jump ring) or 1 & 1/8" (if only counting the locket portion) and 1" in width.
Metal: unmarked but professionally tested.
Weight of the locket: 14.3 grams.
Circa 1890s-1900s
Condition: very good antique condition with age normal wear. Both stone panels are in a great shape with no obvious damage. The hinge is strong and the closure is firm and secure. There is a small gap when closed and it was formed from the manufacture process (not by wear and tear). Please refer to all the listing pictures for the general condition.
