This gorgeous and substantial genuine Victorian 14K solid gold oval locket is another recent unusual find. The front of the locket features a three-dimensional horseshoe belt buckle decor. This motif has long been associated with loyalty and strength, making it the perfect symbol piece to hold photos or keepsakes of the one you love!

The back is clean with no monogram, so it will be perfect to add your personal engravings to it. The locket has a rich and smooth gold finish throughout. Opening from the side, it reveals two compartments for photos, a lock of hair, or a secret love note. It still retains its original two bezels and two glass covers (the glass indicates it was made before the turn of century).

Condition: very good antique condition. The metal shows age related blemish, wear, and surface scratches. One glass has cracks. Good hinge and snap closure. Overall, an extremely charming piece!
