Antique Victorian 14K Solid Gold Double Interlocking Link Collar Chain Necklace, Locket Watch Chain, Choker, 17 Inches

This beautiful 14K solid yellow gold antique Victorian collar chain used to be part of a long guard chain/muff chain from the Mid-late Victorian Era. Constructed with textured double interlocking links, the chain is connected with an antique thumb clasp. Like many other antique gold chains sold and presented in my store, this chain is unique and beautiful. It can be worn by itself or go perfectly with your favorite locket or pendant!

Measurement: approx. 17 inches; 3 mm in link width (all measurements are approximate).

Metal: 14K solid gold chain (not marked, tested with both electronic tester and acid).

Weight: 13 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition with age related patina and wear. A couple of links are slightly bent. The thump clasp and the jump ring on the other end are tested low karat gold/gold filled and was possibly added during the 1900s.
