Crafted with 14K rose gold, this late Victorian piece features 11 antique old rose cut diamonds surrounding an oval cushion cut ruby forming a classic flower motif.

All the gemstones are prong set mounted on a open-back ornate basket gallery. The ring is finished with a smooth shoulder and shank (meaning it is resizable by your local jeweler).

Circa 1890s-1900s.

Ring head: 11.43mmx10.64mm. Band width: range from 3.13mm-2.56mm

Center ruby: approx. 5.5mmx5mm. The ruby has a medium red body tone and is slightly included. The ruby is natural (not synthetic) based on an independent appraisal that comes with the ring. However, most commercial grade rubies are subject to treatments, and the type of treatment of this ruby is unknown due to a lack of lab report, and we price accordingly.

Surrounding diamonds: approx. 0.50 carat total carat weight by measurement. I-K in color and SI-2 in clarity. Rose cut is one of the earliest or primitive cutting methods of diamond. As they were mostly cut by hand, it is normal to see tiny chips & rough unpolished sides / edges for diamonds cut in that period.

Mounting metal: 14K gold (unmarked but tested with acid).

Size: 6.75 It can be resized easily by a jeweler.

Weight: approx. 4.1 grams.

Condition: very good antique condition. The gold setting shows minor age wear. All gemstones are securely set at the moment. Please use the listing pictures as a reference on condition
