This classic early 1900s antique late Victorian 14K old mine old European cut diamond pendant brooch is one of the jewelry collectors' favorites. It is set with 8 graduated size smaller diamonds surrounding a larger diamond in the center, forming a glorious 8-ray flower/ snake/ flake/starburst décor.

Diamonds: Center is approx. 0.4 ct, surrounded by 8 smaller diamonds (each approx. 0.2 ct), totaling approx. 2.00 ctw. All the diamonds are white, clean and fiery (I/J, VS clarity on average).

More amazingly, this brooch pendant has a foldable bale on the top and a pin mechanism. Such a design allows it to be worn as either a pendant or pin, which is super desirable.

Similar examples can be found in Pg.3 1904 Carson Pirie Scott & Co jewelry catalog (please refer to the last listing image).

DIMENSIONS: approx. 1&5/16" with bale or 1&1/16" without the bale, perfect size for your chain layering.

WEIGHT: approx. 7.2 grams.

Metal: unmarked but tested as 14K gold.

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with minor wear and tarnish. Some diamonds may have minor chipping/rough edges, which is common for old cut diamonds. Please refer to the listing pictures for the general condition.
