Antique Victorian 12K-14K Solid Gold Double Interlocking Link Collar Chain Necklace, Locket Watch Chain, Choker, 17.75 Inches

This is a beautiful solid yellow gold antique Victorian collar chain that used to be part of a long guard chain/muff chain from the Victorian Era (circa 1880s-1890s). Constructed with textured double interlocking links, the chain is connected with a large size antique bolt clasp. Like many other antique gold chains sold and presented in my store, this chain is unique and beautiful. It can be worn by itself or go perfectly with your favorite locket or pendant!

Measurement: approx. 17.75 inches; 4 mm in link width (all measurements are approximate).

Metal: unmarked marked, gold content ranges from 12k-14K and tested with both electronic tester and acid. This type of Victorian chains are normally made in 14K. Because the alloy mixing was done manually in the old time and slight variation could happen.

Weight: 11.7 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition with normal age wear. The bolt clasp (circa 1900s) and jump rings are gold filled and were replacement. Please look through all the listing pictures for the general condition.
