Antique French Art Nouveau 18K Gold Rose Cut Diamond Repousse Lady Maiden Slide Locket Necklace, Gift for Her

Circa 1900-1910, this quintessential antique French 18k rose cut diamond repousse lady slide locket is a classic textbook example of French jewelry from the Art Nouveau period. I will let images and video speak for the piece itself.

The locket comes with its 17" original chain, which is super rare. The chain is connected with an old style barrel clasp, which truly indicates its age.

Measurement of the locket: approx. 1&1/16" including the ornate setting but not the jump ring, and 7/8" wide.

Weight: approx. 7.8 grams (locket) and 13.6 grams total weight.

Hallmarks: eagle head marks on both the chain and locket. There are two letters "B F" marked on the front, possibly maker's mark.

Excellent antique condition with very minor wear. The locket slides open clockwise and can lock close securely. It had all the original components including a mirror and a bezel for photos. The mirror is a little foggy with minor chipping on the edge. Please refer to the listing images and video for the general condition.
