Antique English Sterling Silver Graduated Curvy Curb Link Albert Watch Chain, 16 Inches

This is another fabulous antique English sterling silver Albert watch chain with solid and a durable graduated curvy curb link design. It used to be a gentleman's pocket-watch chain. I love the classic design of this chain. It is connected with a dog clip and an old style thumb-less clasp.

More importantly, it has a rare and lovely length of 16" (end to end), with substantial weight and beautiful workmanship.

Metal and Hallmarks: lion passant (the English hallmark for sterling silver) is stamped on each curb link, including the dog clip. The clasp is marked "sterling" . Three connection jump rings are unmarked but the whole piece was tested. The dog clip has a maker's mark "HB&S" and a date mark "t".

Weight: approx. 48.73 grams.
