Coming from a recent England estate, this magnificent large-sized Victorian English 15 CT solid gold oval locket could be a museum worthy collector piece.

The locket is an oval stepped form with a central geometric decor set with eight rose cut diamonds and an old cushion cut diamond at the center forming a cross design. (Center diamond: approx. 40 ct, H-I color, SI clarity; Total diamonds: approx. 0. 50 ctw)

The back is clean with no monograms, so it is perfect to add your own engravings if desired. The locket is attached to its original bale. The surface has a smooth and rich gold finish.

Opening from the side, it reveals two compartments perfect for photos, a lock of hair, or a secret love note. The locket remains in an amazing condition and it retains two bezels and one fabric liner.
