Antique Early 1900s Edwardian/Art Deco Platinum Old Cut Diamond Cluster Halo Daisy Ring, 7.5-7.75
This is probably one of the most gorgeous antique old cut diamond cluster rings that I have come across!! Crafted with platinum, it features a charming antique old European cut diamond surrounded by eight old mine cut diamonds, forming a flower motif.
Diamonds: a mix of old mine and old European cut diamonds, center diamond measures ~4.8mm in diameter with a good depth, so estimated 0.45ct-0.48ct(I/J VS2/SI1, eye clean), totaling ~1.50 ctw in diamonds.
All these old cut diamonds are open back and set in a platinum basket mounting. They glow with tons of rainbow color sparkles! It has a paralleled sturdy split shank.
Circa 1900s-1920s, Edwardian/Art Deco period
Weight: ~4.7 grams
Ring size: 7.5-7.75, resizable by a jeweler.
Hallmarks: an obscure mark that resembles 18k but tested as solid platinum.
Face up dimension: ~12.9mm in diameter, rise above finger: ~6.5mm.
Condition: excellent antique condition with minor wear. All diamonds are securely set. However, given the age and delicate design of the ring, I recommend checking with your local qualified jeweler once a year to see if any service is needed, including prong tightening and retipping. Please refer to all the listing images/video for the general condition.
This is a precious heirloom piece, which can be a perfect engagement ring or gorgeous cocktail ring!
